See things in a new light at Edenham Retreat House

and Meeting Place

We welcome individuals and groups from any Christian tradition or from none; for quiet days, retreats, study, workshops, meetings, training events, individually guided retreats, cell groups, Alpha away days and team meetings of all kinds including school governers and staff. We also welcome groups with children and young people for fun and learning.

The house is located in the Parish of Edenham in the rich countryside of Lincolnshire. There are lots of things to do and places to visit nearby including Stamford 'The finest stone town in England' and the quiet and ancient woodland of Bourne Woods. We are also five minutes away from the deeply historic Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens.

"The whole area resonates with a sense of peace"

"Space to be with the Lord without other concerns"

"Warm welcome, the food lovely and the Chapel with regular services was such a blessing"

Keep up to date with all that's happening at the House!

* Simon Airey is a priest who has worked with traditional oral storytelling for many years and has adapted a narrative style in his own communication in ministry. He believes that storytelling is a transformative way of communicating truth without telling people what to believe. Story is the simplest way to connect, delight, and entertain. On Saturday 9th December at Edenham Retreat House he will lead a workshop enabling people to play with the medium of oral storytelling. Everyone is a storyteller but most of us need to find which stories we tell and learn how to tell them to the best of our ability.
