See things in a new light at Edenham Regional House
We welcome individuals and groups from any Christian tradition or from none; for quiet days, retreats, study, workshops, meetings, training events, individually guided retreats, cell groups, Alpha away days and team meetings of all kinds including school governers and staff. We also welcome groups with children and young people for fun and learning.
The house is located in the Parish of Edenham in the rich countryside of Lincolnshire. There are lots of things to do and places to visit nearby including Stamford 'The finest stone town in England' and the quiet and ancient woodland of Bourne Woods. We are also five minutes away from the deeply historic Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens.
"The whole area resonates with a sense of peace"
"Space to be with the Lord without other concerns"
"Warm welcome, the food lovely and the Chapel with regular services was such a blessing"
Keep up to date with all that's happening at the House!
As previously during Lockdown ERH remains closed to guests and visitors until new guidelines and an easing of restrictions are issued. In the meantime, we remain open for worship in the Stable Chapel for a faithful few (up to six) and for twelve persons in the Sitting Room on a Friday. Please email the Warden if you would like to attend.
WE ARE OPEN!
Edenham Regional House is now open for day events, private group bookings, and overnight accommodation. We are can offer space for individuals and groups of up to 12 participants plus 2 leaders (14 in total).
The twin-bed Coach House is also available for day guests and for overnight accommodation from Tuesday to Sunday, on a B&B / self-catering basis.
Please note that the House is now closed on a Monday (the Warden's day-off).
We are also undertaking some minor works and redecoration to the top-floor accommodation (4 rooms) which we hope to reopen during mid-November.
Services continue in the Stable Chapel and are available to view via Facebook (see below). A small number many attend these services. Please contact the Warden if you would like to do so.
Fr Edward Martin (Warden)
It is with regret, that we can confirm that, in light of COVID restrictions and after ongoing discussions between the Trustees and Management Committee, the role of House Keeper and Administrator at Edenham Regional House are no longer viable and will therefore be made redundant from October. For the foreseeable future, the House will have to work on a reduced scale and with that a much smaller budget. We remain committed to offering Christian education, hospitality, and worship in every way possible whilst also recognising our duty to keep people safe. We are incredibly grateful to Claire Day and Peter Knight for their hard work, enthusiasm, care, and service above and beyond their roles as House Keeper and Administrator respectively. It is exceptionally difficult to say farewell to them as friends and colleagues in such circumstances. As we navigate difficult and uncertain times ahead we ask for your prayers for all involved at ERH and most especially for Claire and Peter.
The Vicarage invites you to break word and bread every Friday and Saturday at 12 noon. Click the poster for more details and contact information.
